Short Range Operators Certificate (VHF)
The ISSA VHF / SRC Marine Radio Operator Course, is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively operate a marine VHF radio (and associated systems such as DSC/GMDSS where applicable) on board leisure craft, in accordance with international marine-communication procedures and regulations.
The teaching system of the lSSA covers the education of skippers and qualified staff of vessels up to 24 meters long. lSSA VHF Marine Radio licenses confirm the user's skills to operate the marine radio equipment in the A1 GMDSS zone. Most marine insurance companies and local authorities around the globe are familiar with the ISSA VHF Marine Radio licenses and the high quality of the ISSA's training.
