From Sep 11 to 17, the ISSA's young sailors at the Qingdao International Youth Regatta 2025 delivered impressive performances, securing top positions in both the ILCA 4 and Optimist classes. Despite the challenges of a long flight, limited practice time, and the unfamiliarity of sailing in Chinese waters, the young sailors showcased their talent, determination, and resilience on the international stage.

In the fiercely contested ILCA 4 class, Miłosz Ciechanowicz delivered an outstanding performance, securing 5th place overall. Miłosz's ability to adapt quickly to new sailing conditions and compete at such a high level marks a major achievement for both him and the Polish team.

Meanwhile, in the Optimist class, two ISSA sailors continued to impress. Emilia Brdulak claimed an exceptional 4th place in the girls' category. Although she narrowly missed the podium, her performance highlighted her excellent technical skills and mental toughness across the series of challenging races. In the boys' category, Jerzy Fursewicz earned a well-deserved 8th place, demonstrating his potential and competitive spirit despite the tough competition.

This successful showing is a major milestone for the ISSA sailing team and the association's growing presence in youth sailing on the international stage. The ISSA team's performance at the Qingdao International Youth Regatta highlights the strength of their sailors and reinforces the commitment to fostering young talent for future success.
