ISSA Yacht Crew

Course Content

Yacht Crew

Yacht Crew course is designed to introduce the trainees into the nautical knowledge so as to prepare them to be a competent assistance for the skippers of sailing or power yachts up to 15m LOA during the day and in good and moderate weather conditions.

Upon completion, the trainees are eligible to undertake the ISSA Inland (Power) Yacht Skipper, the ISSA Inshore (Power) Yacht Skipper or the Boat Master Course.

Requirements

Experience required prior training: None
Certification required prior training: None
Minimum age required: 10 years old
Suggested training hours: 20 hours
Who can run the training: ISSA Yacht Crew Instructor and higher level ISSA Instructors
Who can do the examination: ISSA Yacht Crew Instructor and higher level ISSA Instructors
How to submit the application: Only through authorized ISSA schools
