In mid-June, the TURNING POINT Stiftung (turningpoint-stiftung.com) conducted a series of workshops at the picturesque Württembergischer Yachtclub in Friedrichshafen, located by the Bodensee. This event marked the second edition of TURNING POINT Stiftung's inclusive sailing activities for the year. The ISSA (International Sailing Schools Association) inclusive sailing team attended as observers.

During the workshops, ISSA inclusive instructors and representatives of TURNING POINT Stiftung exchanged valuable insights from the ISSA SIPD (Sailing Instructors of Persons with Disabilities) program. This collaboration aims to share best practices and enhance the quality of inclusive sailing instruction.

Looking ahead, ISSA plans to collaborate further with TURNING POINT Stiftung to encourage more people with disabilities to join sailing communities. The ISSA SIPD program welcomes organizations and individual instructors who are dedicated to supporting persons with disabilities in the sport of sailing.
