ISSA Hosted Successful Sailing Camp in Sztynort, Poland
Sztynort, Poland – The International Sailing Schools Association (ISSA) recently concluded an exhilarating sailing camp in the charming town of Sztynort, Poland, from 16th to 23rd July 2023. The week-long camp proved to be an unforgettable experience for all the young participants and sailing enthusiasts.
The camp gathered a group of enthusiastic young people eager to set sail on the pristine waters of Sztynort. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the participants received extensive training aboard the yachts, honing their sailing skills to perfection. They enthusiastically practiced essential techniques such as jib sheet handling, halyard maneuvers, mainsheet control, and the mastery of knots and fenders.
Beyond practical skills, the young sailors also delved into the intricate knowledge of how sailboats worked. This theoretical understanding not only deepened their appreciation for sailing but also instilled a sense of confidence in handling the boats more effectively.
